Temp-sensitive electric switch - contg ferroelectric ceramic plate joined with an ordinary ceramic plate

Title switch is actuated at a constant temp. which is not shifted by ageing or fatigue as in the case of bimetallic switches. The pref. ferroelectric material is BaTiO3 or PbTiO3 or their mixed crystals. The temp. of the abrupt expansion can be altered by additives such as BaSnO3, SrTiO3, Ca ZrO3, etc. The plates are placed one on the other, and sintered, soldered or glued together.
