Circular knitter yarn feed unit - has an inlet section on store drum holder to give automatic drag compensation

The yarn feed mechanism for a textile machine, partic. a circular knitter, has a store drum with the yarn coiled round it in transit. The inlet section carrying the inlet yarn brake and/or inlet eyelet is secured to the drum holder on a movable mounting near the store drum. The design gives an automatic drag compensation which simplifies threading the yarn from its spool.
