The device for use in concrete construction e.g. shuttering has a threaded metal base piece, and a fixture element for screwing to this, for brackets work platforms, scaffolding, form units or other pieces. There is a plastic socket unit (11) fitted on the base unit (1), loosely surrounding it, conically shaped along part of its length. The fixture element incorporates a lengthways aperture with thread, and an outside thread (6) for screwing on the base unit. The latter has an internal thread (7), concentric to this thread, for screwing in an outside stud with matching thread.
