Egg boiler is fitted with a warming unit to keep the eggs warm once they have boiled. The warming unit can be a hot plate in which is mounted an electric heating element (4) of the boiler. The warming unit can also be formed by an additional electric heating element which may or may not be fitted with a thermostat which is can be provided in addition to the first thermostat of the boiler. The warming unit can be in the form of a heat-insulation layer fitted into a hood detachably covering the lower part of the boiler housing.
