Ballast filler for tractor tyre - has hopper fed screw extending into tyre through removable plug in wheel rim

The ballast filler for the tractor tyre has a tube with integral screw drive (3) to move the ballast from a hopper (22) to the filling end (8). The filler is fitted through a removable plug in the wheel rim and extends well into the tyre. The filler can be used to fill tubeless tractor tyres, with the screw impeller driven by an electric servo motor (1) at the end of the filler. The ballast is thus packed tightly and evenly.
