Single-piece component for a slide valve controlled dry-gasmeter comprises two inner metering cups, arranged back-to-back, and a grid box upon which a separate slide grid can be screwed. The article is injection-moulded from glass-bead-reinforced plastics, specifically polybutene terephthalate, polytetramethylene terephthalate or a copolyacetal. Mfr. of the component is relatively inexpensive whilst ensuring that a gasmeter into which it is installed functions with adequate accuracy.
