Caravan with folding observation tower - has folding roof panels erected by hoist with swinging end boom

The folding observation tower on the caravan has a swinging boom (13) on the leading edge of the roof to raise the larger rigid panel (8a) from the roof of the trailer to form the front of the tower. The rest of the tower is assembled from smaller panels hinged on the main panel. The assembly is lightweight and is easily erected single handed. It allows access to the top part of the tower by a ladder and floor flaps.
