Measurement device for small forces and torques - uses foil grid resistive transducers embedded in annular foil sheet

A device is used for measurement of tension compression and/or translational forces and bending and/or torsional moments. It is able to measure small forces and/or moments and uses conventional strain gauges or other resistive transducers embedded in two or more circular or tubular parts (1 to 6) fixed together, e.g. by welding or adhesives. It is developed from known devices for economical construction and absolutely safe operation. The circular etc. parts are made of thin foil and the resistive transducers (7, 8) are made of thin foil grids fixed within them.
