The transportable shower cubicle is designed for rapid assembly from prefabricated components. The lower part, housing a shower basin, and, perhaps, service installations, incorporates bottom and upper frames both assembled from shaped-section units, with intervening panels sealing off the interior space. The lower and upper frames of the lower part are held at an interval by load-bearing posts, the panels being simply cladding units with no load-bearing function, easily removable from outside. The posts, pref. at the corners, may also serve to connect the abutting ends of the frame units. For servicing or repair work, the interior is readily accessible without dismantling the cubicle.
