Luminous publicity display panel - has interior display plate withdrawn from bottom of display housing against action of mechanical winder

The publicity display panel has a housing (1) in which are fluorescent tubes (2) with their ballasts (3) and capacitors (4). The front face of the housing is closed by a transparent plaque (5). Behind the plaque (5) is a sliding rectangular chassis (6). The sliding chassis (6) supports a translucid plaque (7). The bottom of the housing (1) has an opening (8) through the chassis (6) can pass. At the upper edges of the chassis (6) are fixed two chains (9) which pass over two toothed pinions (10). These pinions (10) are fixed to a shaft (11) which rotates in bearings (12) fixed inside the housing (1). A mechanical window with elastic resetting means rotates the shaft (11) in a direction tending to raise the chassis (6). The chassis (6) is pulled down against the action of the mechanical winder. The display (15) is fitted onto the plaque (7). The chassis is then pulled back by the winder into the housing.
