Batching plant for concrete or aggregate mixes - has reversible conveyor under aggregate bins leading to alternate production

The batching plant is for the continuous or discontinuous prodn. of concrete or alternative mixes e.g. relatively weak mixes e.g. cement bound granular material used in road construction. The centre of the plant has a conveyor belt (5) to which the various aggregates are fed from hoppers (1, 2, 3) above. The belt is reversable and feeds the materials to a concrete-mixer (43) or to an elevator conveyor (11). The various materials i.e. aggregates, cement, pulverised materials and water may be gauged by weight, vol. or temp. controls. When leaving the primary conveyor for the concrete mixer, the aggregates take an inclined conveyor (41), pass beneath a cement batcher (42) and a water injection station (44), and passes into the mixer.
