Manual adjuster for car headlamp - has hydromechanical double control piston operated by manually moved knob

The manual adjuster (8) is for car headlamps. The setting of each headlamp is controlled by a hydro mechanical transducer. This is worked by the mechanical controller which has a control knob for a double piston (18). The knob rotation can be reversed and the piston moved, in conjunction with a stop (16). This stop is a toothed wheel integral with the knob and a double hook of flexible material. The hook is fixed relative to the knob and normally holds the chosen position.
