The swimming flipper has a foot cavity which forms an angle with the thrust surface. The cavity (1) is extended by means of a series of ducts (2, 3, 4) which, at the front, form a smooth surface (5) covering the foot, situated between two ridges (11, 12). The covering surface is supported by partitions over which is a rigid, smooth, single piece made of synthetic resin.
