Compsns. for human and veterinary use containing a lipoaminoacid (I), having an aliphatic chain of 6-12C combined with any known amino acid, are new. (I) is usually of formula ch3r1-conh-ch(r2)(cooh) where R1= -(CH2)n- n= 4,6,8 or 10; R2 = the residue of a known amino acid. The cpds. are microbicides, fungicides, and viricides.
