Circuit breaker interlock mechanism - has roller and ball operated intermediate holding section movable along channel

The switch interlock mechanism is esp. suitable for use in circuit breakers. The interlock is based on an intermediate holding section consisting of a roller or ball or a combination of both. Latching is achieved by focring two such balls (19a, 19b) into slots in the walls of a rectangular channel. The balls are trapped within a block (13) free to move along the channel. Both balls are forced sideways by a single ball (14) being pressed between them by a roller (18) swung through an arc centred (16) on the axis of the channel and free to move in the axis of the channel.
