PURPOSE:To make the device compact without the increase of insulator size between the tap winding terminals and to make its price cheaper by the use of a rotary bridge type no-voltage tap changer of lower withstand voltage. CONSTITUTION:When the bridges 10, 11 of two no-voltage tap changers 5, 6 are set in the position shown by solid lines, the turns of the winding 1 is maximal by conduction in the following order. Lead Wire a from Tap Winding Terminal of First Main Winding 2 Terminal F of Tap Changer 5 Bridge 10 Terminal A of Tap Chaner 5 Tap Lead Wire b Tap Winding 4 Tap Lead Wire f Terminal B of Tap Changer 6 Bridge 11 Terminal A' of Tap Changer 6 Lead Wire g from Tap Winding Terminal of Second Main Winding When the positions of bridges 10, 11 are turned in the direction of the arrow, the turns of winding 1 are gradually decreasee. Thus voltage can be regulated.
