Mechanism for keeping the combine harvester vertical during operation consists of a pump from which the liquid is pumped via a distributor to double-acting hydrostatic cylinders. The cylinders touch the machine chassis to lift or lower it. The distributor is driven by two electromagnets at the sides. The liquid is pumped through an adjustable closure valve and a flow-regulator which is directly controlled by a pendulum to a container and a safety-valve protects the mechanism. The flow-regulator consists of a rotating slide-piece driven by the pendulum, and an adjusting-screw set the quantity of fluid which sets the axial position of the slide-piece. A circuit with two stroke-limiting switches in series and a coil supplied by a battery automatically controls the mechanism. A horn and bulb act as warning signals, and two identical transistor units control the tilt of the machine.
