Pyridazinylhydrazones capable of lowering blood pressure have the formula IMAGE wherein R1 is hydrogen, chlorine, alkyl having from 1 to 4 carbon atoms, methoxy, hydroxyl, carbamoyl or cyano; R2 is chloro; and K is a group having the formula IMAGE wherein one of R3, R4, R5 or R6 is carboxyl or alkoxycarbonyl.
