ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSUREThere is provided means for accelerating the speedon a ski-jumper on a hill, when the hill itself is notsuch as to promote proper speed. The means includes a motorwhich, through an appropriate transmission mechanism,drives an endless towing rop which carries gripping membersto which the jumper may cling.
