The pneumatic or hydraulic conduits which form a protection against intruders, are connected to a detector which registers any variation in pressure and triggers an alarm. In order to prevent an interruption, for example, by crushing of the conduits, these comprise a core (2) of hard and resistant material, for example one or more steel wires and preferably a steel cable. During a crushing attempt, internal channels (4) remain due to the limited creep capacity of the core and pressure variations can be detected by the detector. The conduits are used to make screens which are under pressure and can be used as fences for peripheral protection or as protection of doors or blinds. They constitute an obstacle against entry into a space or room thus protected, which can only be crossed after prior destruction. The leak thus caused causes a loss of pressure and, consequently, the triggering of the alarm.
