A wedge-shaped side tool slides on an inclined guide pin and, adjacent to the mould cavity, contains a V-shaped side ram which also slides on an oblique surface. An L-shaped guide attached to the mould frame engages a pin fixed to this ram which itself is spring-loaded. When the bottom mould tool opens downwards, the wedge tool slides down its guide pin, the ram moves by its pin in the L-guide and therefore moves first upwards and away from the moulding. When its pin reaches the turn of the L-guide the ram and wedge move together, releasing the moulding for ejection.
