A room heating radiator has a heating coil (4) mounted in the upper part of tis casing (1) and a fan (12) in the lower part to ensure sufficient hot air circulation for water at a temperature less than 50 deg.C. If connected to a supply having a higher temperature, the radiator can be installed by rotating the casing through 180 deg. about its horizontal axis. The coil ends terminate in vertical portions with outer connections (5, 6) and a parallel tube (9) is fitted. In the first position the control valve is fitted to the upper connection (6) and the top of the tube, and the water supply is connected across the bottom connection and the bottom of the tube. With the radiator reversed, these connections are reversed. Further variations include multiple coils and an electric booster heater.
