1431644 Bearing materials SKF INDUSTRIAL TRADING & DEVELOPMENT CO BV 8 Aug 1974 [7 Sept 1973] 35074/74 Heading C3P Materials having low coefficients of friction and low wear comprise (1) 50 to 90 weight per cent of powdered solid lubricant bonded by (2) a polymerized mixture of unsaturated organic compounds containing at least 30 weight per cent of divinyl benzene. The lubricant may be molybdenum disulphide, tungsten diselenide, boron nitride or graphite. The polymer may be derived from technical divinyl benzene containing a mixture of isomers. The materials may be used in plain bearings, inserts in the pockets of bearing cages or separators between bearing rollers.
