Palletless stack loading system - has table working with stripping device to separate stack from pallet

The palletless loading system is for banded and palletised stacks of items, each stack being delivered on a flat pallet along a track, typically a roller conveyor, to a table adjustable up and down. The table (5) with the stack (3) on the pallet (4) is brought into a position immediately above the loading platform of a transport vehicle. Movement of the table with the aid of a stripping device, such as a barrier or thruster, separates the stack from the pallet. The table with the empty pallet can be brought back to the track and the pallet stored in a magazine. The table can have a coating of rubber or similar material, so that the coefficient of friction between it and the pallet is greater than that between the pallet and the stack.
