Of the two telescopically sliding rails which form the guide one (18) is secured to the furniture frame whilst the other(19) forms the slide track and is detachably connected to the drawer by fastening means in the form of ratchet elements (24) which snap in resiliently behind detents (23, 25) on the rail (19) and which can be released against the locking direction (47). The detents (23, 25) and ratchet elements (24) are associated with each other so that the ratchet only snaps in behind the detent following a relative displacement (26) of the drawer (10) along the track rail (19). The drawer can be removed as an independent unit but when fitted back in the guide forms a complete unit with the guide rails.
