The connections between a high pressure hose and a supply valve, consists of a rigid funnel shaped member (5) with a resilient member (9) mounted over the open mouth of the funnel part. The bottom of the funnel has a step (4) with a connection (2) of smaller diameter for the hose. The membrane has a thick outer rim (8) with a groove (8a) around the inside, into which fits a curled over edge (6) of the open mouth. In the middle of the membrane, where the thickness reduces towards the centre, is a thin inturned sleeve (10a) for fitting onto the mouth of the valve.
