Twin motor driven paper shredder - has input side of reducing gear driven by pinion of two low output motors

The shredding operation of paper material to be destroyed is carried out by cutting/shredding rollers connected by geared wheels and thereby counter rotating. One roller is also fitted on shaft seated in bearings. The other end of shaft carries a geared wheel the teeth of which mesh with teeth of two pinions keyed on shaft ends of the two electric motors. By using two electric motors with pinions meshing on the same geared wheel that following a sudden overload due to excessive bulk the two motors act with their respective individual torque one after the other in a time delayed manner.
