Heating device for squash balls includes a heating element and a ball receiving device and at some distance to the latter. Heat distribution units are positioned next to the heating element and are located along the effective heating surface. The ball receiving device is made as a container open towards the top with its wall having a number of openings, and consists of a number of bowl-shaped receivers the upper sections of which are widened in a funnel shape.
