The connector or termination, for a high voltage line, has an insulating sleeve. This sleeve is adapted for covering part of the exposed dielectric of the conductors and it has a collar located within a region lying 40% to 85% of the distance between the end of the cable sheath and the end of the dielectric (measured from the cable sheath end). The sleeve is a shrink fit type. The collar is in one piece with the sleeve and it forms a flange lying in a plane at 90% to the axis of the sleeve.
