Building material lifting mechanism - has lifting truck with folding fork travelling up rails from loading platform

The material lifting mechanism comprises guide rails and a mobile truck. It has a fixed inclined liading platform (7) at the lower end of the rails (1). The lifting truck (2), travelling up and down the rails, has a fork or plate (4) folding against the lengthwise members (5). The loading platform can be mounted clear of the rails, so that the truck can pass underneath with the fork folded. The platform can be stirrup fixed to two lengthwise members parallel to the rails and clear of them, by means of struts gripping the rails. These members can be slightly chamfered at the top so as to allow the components of the load to pass easily on to the truck.
