The wall height partition panel (1) or post is for use on fitted wardrobes with a screw-jack mechanism (7, 9, 10) whereby it us wedged between the floor (4) and the ceiling (5), and can support shelving at random heights. It has a cellular hollow cross-section and is sub-divided into two vertical lengths (2, 3). The screw-jacks (7, 9, 10) are positioned at the joint and operate to vary the vertical distance between the two vertical lengths (2, 3). The panel may approximate to a tri-cell rectangle in section with two vertical screw jacks occupying tubular formations within the terminal cells. Each screw jack comprises a round section bar (7) with a threaded upper length (9) and an intermediate enlargement (11) with a tommy bar hole (12). The length (9) screws into a threaded sleeve (10) in the upper panel length (3), the enlargement (11) fits on the top of the lower panel length (2) and the lower length of bar (7) fits into the lower panel length. The joint may be covered by a sliding masking section (28).
