Frame for mounting taut a piece of fabric to be painted or embroidered, is made up of 4 profiled sides forming a dismantlable quabrilateral shape. Two opposite sides hold the fabric taut, and the other two sides stop these from sliding across the fabric. Specifically, the frame is made of complementary 'U' and 'T' section profiles fitted with mechanical and magnetic clamps. The metal frames are of adjustable size and are easier to clean and have greater warp resistance than conventional wooden frames.
