Electric rotisserie counterweight to balance spit - is carried by clip attachment on disc fitted on side of spit with screw

A flat metal disc is used to hold the counterweights. It is thick enough to maintain rigidity and is of large enough diameter not even to touch the heating elements of the rotisserie when weighted down with hooked-on weights acting as counter-balance. The weights vary in weight and clip onto the disc. They may be of circular section with a flattened portion. The disc itself has an attachment (1) taking a screw (2) by which it is fixed on the sides of the spit. One or several weights can be clipped onto the discs according to need.
