The salad mixer and vegetable washer is made of glass, steel, non-ferrous metal or plastics, and consists of two receptacles one of which is upturned on the other to form the mixer. The two receptacles are hinged together. A thin belt (2) has two diametrically opposite holes, into which the two ends of an agitator (1) fit. A horizontal axle enables the blades of the mixer to pivot, and to rotate the vegetables on themselves.
