The unit has the longitudinal corners of each spotlight casing flattened. Each casing has longitudinal parallel T-shaped slots. I or T shaped support pieces fit into these slots to hold the casing and, if required, to allow it to pivot through an angle to set the direction of illumination. Any casing can therefore be pivoted to an adjacent casing. Each casing has removable metal partition at one end to centre the lamp and to reflect light and heat. Each casing has a U-shaped bridge extending across it in the region of its middle. The bridge supports the lamp's socket.
