Telephone terminal including calculators - combines both functions of normal subscriber telephone and an information transmission terminal

A telecommunication terminal has its input terminals connected to a phone line and comprises signalling members such a a keyboard for calling a subscriber and a detector which detects an incoming call and activates a controlling microcomputer. The terminal also includes voice controls which enable the telephone line to be used normally and information transmission unit controlled by a second microcalculator. A switching circuit has a first pair of input output terminals coupled to the telephone line, and further input and output terminal pairs connected to the voice controls and the information transmission unit and an input connected to the microcomputers. The switching circuit is adapted to connect the telephone line to the voice controls or the information transmission unit, the terminal combining both the junctions of a normal telephone and of an information transmission terminal.
