摘要

PURPOSE:To detect the subject antibody with high sensitivity, conviniently and easily by bringing a latex reagent prepared by sensitizing latex particles with hemolytic streptococcal hyaluronidase into contact with human body fluid or its diluted solution to observe the sedimentation pattern thereof. CONSTITUTION:After sensitizing latex particles with purified hemolytic streptococcal hyaluronidase antibody, surplus antigen is eliminated by washing the latex particles with an aqueous medium. The thus obtaind latex reageant is suspended in an aqueous solvent to form a latex particle suspension. The body fuid such as human serum, or its diluted solution is placed in the well of a plate for microtiter, and the above-described latex particle suspension is poured therein. By observing the sedimentation pattern, the existence of the hyaluronidase antibody is discriminated, or this agglutination may be discriminated on the slide glass. In the case of using a microtiter method, latex particles of high specific gravity are used.
