The equipment converts thermal into mechanical energy, and consists of a hot-gas engine with one or more pairs of components working in tandem. Together these form a closed circuit, without inlet or outlet or fuel consumption. The system operates on the gas and stress laws of Gay Lussac, Boyle and Dalton. The pistons (4,5) can be arranged to cause gas circulation automatically in alternate directions, via openings (1,2,3). A heater element (10,11,12) can be provided to increase the molecular velocity, expansion taking place via one of the ports.
