The instrument supplies thermal energy to vital parts of gas pressure regulators, e.g. for an air - or water-cooled engine running on liquefied petroleum gas. To prevent freezing up while the engine is warming up and cannot supply the necessary heat from the exhaust etc, a thermostatically -controlled (5) electric heater (6) is provided.
