MACHINE FOR SEPARATING THE BONE AND THE FLESH FROM THE FEET OF SLAUGHTERED UNGULATES

The process is of the type in which the feet are washed, heated, de-hoofed, dehaired and deboned. The feet are now washed, dehoofed and the dew-claws are trimmed off. This is followed by deboning or skinning, after which the flesh and/or skin are heated separately from the bones, and hairs are removed. The processing line pref. includes, in sequence, a washing station, a hoof removing machine, dew-claw shears, slitting machine, deboning/skinning station, heating bath and hair removal machine. Making use of detached bovine or ovine feet by sepn. of flesh/skin, bones, hair. These can be used for the mfr. of byrpods. such as gelatin, organic fertiliser, glue etc. Method is labour saving, inexpensive, mechanised prodn. for high output.
