Procedure for identification and recognition in document Images. Consists in Segmenting the image to treat, in a Matrix of Discrete Elements, each element being analysed to determine its color intensity. Subsequently, each element is compared with its adjacent Elements, determining the number of similar features between them.Finally, there are the Elements, establishing a Table of these that are listed by their characteristics, being compared to a Table of Characteristics of documents stored Memory patterns in a dictionary. When a couple is located within a Predetermined Tolerance, the document is identified.
