A B S T R A C TThe invention relates to a loading arrangement forhand fire-arms, in particular, a cartridge clip used to retaincartridges adapted to fit into a magazine of an automatic riflefor firing caseless ammunition. The cartridge clip containsthe cartridges by two resilient tongues and is constructed asan insert for a container. The cartridge clip itself holds aplurality of cartridges each having a powder body and a bulletembedded therein. A clip has a rigid handle member and a pairof elongated substantially rigid tongues extending parallel toeach other for receiving and engaging the powder body of thecartridge in a single row side by side. The tongues have oneend resiliently secured to the handle member and the otherend formed with a means for releasably securing the cartridgesin place.
