PRECIS DE LA DIVULGATION:Apparatus for the exact weighing of materials,especially fruit and vegetables, in lots of mixed-size pieces,comprising: a plurality of scales receiving a plurality ofpieces, feed means for feeding the pieces on to the scales,means for calculating the sum of successive groups of weightsread from differently selected scales, and for calculating thedifference between a wanted draft and each of the sums in orderto select a group of weights and hence of scales carrying piecesfor a total weight differing from the wanted draft to a pre-determined allowed extent, means for unloading the pieces fromthe selected scales.
