diffusion transfer color process and products using materials providing image dyes generating Magenta image dyes possessing the chromophoric system represented by the formula: (FORMULA) wherein each R is the same or different and represents an alkyl group and each X is the same or different and represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group (including substituted alkyl). The material giving the color image comprises a diffusion control half, such as a hydroquinonyl group and can be diffusible or nondiffusible as a function of the diffusion control half.
