METHOD OF PURIFYING AND SEPARATING FLAVONOID COMPOUND FROM GINGKO-NUT LEAVES

Flavonoid compd., useful as anti-hypertensive, were separated from gingko-nut leaves. Thus, 50kg of leaves were counter-current extraction in 50% EtOH at 70-80C and filtered. The filtrate was sepd. with chloroform and ammonium sulfate. The supernatent was filtered by polyamide and dryed in the depression condition. The dry matter was dissolved in EtOH and let a night, followed filtrating and drying.
