Jack strip connection for equipment rack - has angle insert with tapped hole for securing bolt in intermediate position

The rack for electrical or telephone equipment has vertical supports (2) across which are mounted jack strips (3) and front strips (4), also lamp or switch strips. The front strip has a cut-out (5, 11) each side, at the end. The front cut-out (5) clears the vertical support, and the rear cut-out (11) clears and corner of a securing angle (12), at joints. For end positions the end of the front strip has a further half round cut-out (7) and against it fits an L-shaped end block (17) with a similar cut-out (19). A bolt can be passed through the hole formed by two cut-outs, to screw into a nut (20) at the rear. An end plate (10) is then fitted adjacent to the jack. For intermediate positions, the angle has a tapped hole (14) which can be engaged by the bolt instead.
