The grinder has two rollers on spindles in a divisible protective housing open at the top, with an endless grinder belt running round them. The length of the belt is greater than the periphery of the rollers and it also passes between them over two adjustable spring-loaded arms. The spindles have wheels on their ends protruding out of the housing. These bring the belt into contact on placing a face to be machined.
