Connecting plug for fibre=optic cable - has end of core adjustable along axis and has socket and centring grub screws around circumference

Unit consists of a plug socket used for retaining a light fibre glued into an end socket of a fibre. The end of the light fibre on the coupling side can be adjusted along the axis of the casing by two pairs of grub screws. The plug socket (2) contains a central hole (3) with a rough tolerance, and supports the end connector (4) of the fibre. The final adjustments are made by the grub screws (6) which are inserted via threaded holes symmetrically spaced around the circumference of the plug sockets. The tips (7) of the grub screws are made from a material which is easily deformed by the end socket (4) of the fibre.
