The nodal point forms a rigid, detachable corner joint between steel angle sections, extending in three directions. It uses a section of plate bent to form three surfaces. This plate has two bend lines running parallel to each main direction, and three surface sections each defined by two main directions, to which the angle sections are secured by releasable fasteners. It is completed by a second plate (26) bent to form two surfaces and having a bend line (28), running parallel to the third main direction, and two surface sections each containing one of the other main directions (22,24). These surface sections bear against two sections (16,20) on the first plate (10). The fasteners (36) secure the plates together and to the angle sections (30, 32,34).
