Suction conveyor for bulk goods - has suction pipe with telescopic nozzle section incorporating suction end

The suction conveyor is esp. for use during the unloading of ships. It has a suction pipe with a movable cutting head at the free end, to loosen and feed the goods to the pipe. The suction pipe may be extended by a nozzle section (23) which is telescopic in longitudinal direction, so that a suction end (24) projects from the cutting head (21). The suction pipe consists of telescopic sections, the nozzle forming part of one section (17). The nozzle is adjusted by esp. pressure medium cylinders (26,27) held on a carrier frame for the suction pipe. The piston rods are connected to the nozzle resp. the suction pipe section.
